YouTube Music has launched shared playlists which are based on listening preferences of those who have joined them. The platform announced The new “taste match” The company will be releasing new playlists every day to celebrate its 10th birthday on Thursday.

This sounds like a great idea similar to Spotify BlendIt allows you to create playlists that are based on the music tastes of a number of different people. Taste match is similar to Blend in that it allows you to see what your friends or family are listening to.

YouTube Music is also adding the capability to directly comment on albums or playlists. YouTube is also partnering up with Bandsintown, which will highlight upcoming events on an artist’s videos, channels, and shorts. YouTube Music will also be rolling out notifications for upcoming releases, new merchandise and events.
