Buffer wants to help nonprofits share and amplify their online impact.
We offer a 50% nonprofit discount. This is something that we have done ever since Buffer was founded. Our pricing was designed for all users, but the nonprofit discount makes content creation more affordable for organizations that are focused on public service.
Buffer has a team of teammates that review the requests submitted by organizations seeking our non-profit discount. The organizations that apply for our discount are amazing. incredible! When I speak with any of these organizations, I’m always amazed by the positive impact that they are making on their respective communities.

Libraries are now included in our discount program for nonprofits
Recent requests for nonprofit discounts from libraries have come in. Unfortunately, we didn’t receive all of the necessary documentation from them to be able to offer the discount. As much as I care about organizations that do not meet our standards, the fact that libraries were ineligible seemed to be a bit out of character for Buffery.
Buffer shares the same values as libraries. We reviewed the non-profit discounts after we became profitable again and grew. Jenny, the VP Finance and Operations of our company, agreed with us that we should expand our discount for nonprofits to include libraries.
We would like our customers to be treated with respect and courtesy. This offer will allow more libraries in the community to utilize Buffer. They can then reach a larger audience about events, new books or any other information.
