This is the same kind of assistant, which can perform all sorts of tasks, and because it’s Google it knows everything you do in Google or with any apps you link. You can imagine how powerful that is. OpenClaw already raised privacy concerns, but now it’s even worse. It can access your Gmail and your calendar. You could also give access to all your online activities, including your search history. “Hey, go do this. Remind me of this, do that.”

AI is also having a negative impact on the workplace. It was only a short time ago that we discussed the Meta layoffs. It’s probably not a big surprise that when Eric Schmidt, former Google CEO spoke to graduands at the University of Arizona last week and brought up AI things did not go well.
